Major Basics of Having a Webinar
You might be wondering why I put “major” next to “basics”. If you’ve been hosting webinars, then you’d know that you have to be in your game. But little do you know that the basics that you know are one of the essential things you can have during this activity. Without these basics, even one of them, you can’t go on with hosting your webinar.
These are essential when it comes to establishing this type of work. Why do you think so? because they are interconnected with each other which makes the event great! So before you start with it, you have to make sure that you have everything you need. First, start with the most important.
The online tools or platforms you’ll be using must be on top of the list.
These tools determine the quality of your seminar and your choice here is crucial. Such equipment must have features that can support you all the way through. You have things that can help you with your recording, tracking, mobile access, chat room and most especially the screen sharing. You have to make sure that they work comfortably together.
Extended gadgets are also a must.
You have to bring your extras with you or better yet, buy something that is more doable than the last one. Microphone, headsets, lighting, and an extra service for a tech guy will come in handy. What if something goes wrong right in the middle of your lecture? At least you have something in your hand to help you out. When it comes to having a webinar, there’s no time to “pause” the lecture because you have live spectators that aren’t too shy to quit.
Webcams and backdrops are important too!
Do you think your laptop is the only one that can make the whole activity excellent? Get extra webcams to capture you on every angle to add some effect on your webinar. Have with you a backdrop to make it look like dramatic. Just go all out to ensure that you have the best seminar than everybody else who have already utilized it. In this way, you’ll leave a good impression aside from the topic you’re about to share with your audience.
So you see, these things aren’t just “basics” because if you understand how they impact the way you handle your webinar, then you’d get it! It’s not all about what you can teach and share. But it’s also with the things you’re going to use during this activity.
