SEO Your Website

There is no way to guarantee that your website will rank as number one in Google because of too many websites on the web today. To increase your site’s chances of ranking very well, you may consider these simple things that you can simply do.

  • Select the Best URL

You need to select your URL before your website can go live. It is also called as a domain name, it is the address where the visitors will type in to find your website. It is important to make sure that your URL is beautiful and clean with no special characters, hashtags or a page ID. The ideal domain will include your business name and probably a keyword or two that is relevant to your business.

  • Create Titles and Descriptions for each Page

These are brief texts that precise and definitely describe what your business does, ideally with a few keywords and phrases together. Select the best and unique title and description for each page on your website. In fact, the title and the description are the first things that Google uses to determine your site’s rank. In addition, once your site will show up on the search result page, it’s the time that the web surfers can read your title and description to let them know what is all about your site and it is up to them to decide whether or not they will check it out or not.

  • Utilize Anchor Text

The anchor text is composed of text that the surfers can click on to be driven right directly to another webpage, it is either on your site or anywhere on the internet. Consider where you can use anchor text within your site as you write the text for your website.

  • To All Your Images, Add Alt Text

It is a short or concise written description about each image on a website, in order to understand what is displayed in a photo or graphics that a search engine will look for an Alt text. It is great at a reading text on your website, but they still haven’t figured it out how to look at the images on your site.

  • Right Headers for Site Structure

It is defined as H1 in the text editor and the most relevant part which is the title of your page. Every page on your website requires a title, a subtitle and so on to make it more informative and attractive to the visitors. The H1 should be detailed about the page content and you shouldn’t have more than one H1 each page. Following your H1 is the H2, H3 and so on.
