Can you still remember those times that mails take months before it will reach the recipient? You know the hassle of waiting other several months to receive a single reply with limited texts called telegrams having to pay Every. Single. Word. But hello, it’s almost six decades now since all that snail mail. In 1960’s, electronic mails have been introduced to computers. And now, it’s just tapped tap and one click away to send to a single or multiple recipients in a millisecond. Yup, that fast.
Wherever you go, anyone can find a computer device or a cellular phone. All you can think of when you first see them is communication. Communication is easier nowadays through SMS, social media platforms, emails or any other means. But in this article, we will tackle about how people can take benefit of email correspondence.
For Professor and Students
Remember that scenario from an episode of How to Get Away With Murder when only Wes Gibbins didn’t get to answer Professor Annalise Keating’s question because he didn’t receive an email from her containing a lawsuit case to be discussed at their first meeting? It’s how beneficial e-mail correspondence is to professors and students having to still communicate off-class to have the class flow smooth and organized.
When you say companies, number one that would sink through your mind when communication is involved is through email. With respect to formalities, e-mail is the first option of any people in reaching out the company or otherwise for sending in files such as resume, cover letter, or any other requirements for those who are seeking for a job.
Email may not be the fastest means of communicating when business is involved since there are other quick ways in doing business, such as in social media where most people spend their time with are the targets of businessmen to make their profits go double. However, some would still prefer emails since others would open their emails at their leisure time.
For Home-Based Workers
It’s a dream job for most people where you can work at home. It’s the only homework all people like. How can it be? I’m pretty sure you heard about online jobs. It’s what people prefer who don’t want to interact with people personally for a reason that they are introverted or whatnot. And now you wonder, how do they interact? Is it via Messenger, WhatsApp, or phone calls? It can be. But most workers send their works through e-mail. Successfully, online workers benefit in communication with the boss and co-workers through email for a certain reason, it’s the most formal and convenient platform in conducting work.
Love letters are still pretty sweet – in papers or in electronic. Long distance relationship can benefit in this situation. However, most people don’t get to open their emails since a person can open such during his/her leisure time as mentioned earlier. So in this means, it may not be convenient but a person’s choice may vary.
